Fendolite MII is asbestos and fibre free, does not emit toxic or hazardous fumes before, during and after application, or under exposure to fire.

Provided that the correct standards of hygiene are maintained and safe working practice is followed, there are no known hazards in the handling of Fendolite MII. However, as it is cement-based, and cement powder mixed with water releases alkali, the normal precautions applying to cement based products should be taken when handling, mixing or applying Fendolite MII.

Recommended safety precautions to follow are:-

  1. Avoid skin and eye contact and inhalation of spray.wearing of gloves, eye protection, face masks and barrier cream recommended, especially if there is an allergy to cement.
  2. If product comes into contact with the skin, wash with luke warm water and soap or proprietary hand cleaner.
  3. If the eyes become contaminated, wash with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention if irritation persists.
